(Korean Bilingual) Ocean Import Specialist

About the Role
A logistics company in Chicago IL is hiring an Ocean Import Specialist to manage ocean import processing from overseas coordination through final delivery. This is a hands-on role handling customs clearance container consolidation/deconsolidation ground transportation delivery tracking and related accounting tasks. Key Responsibilities
- Communicate with overseas agents to initiate ocean import processing.
- Clear importing goods through customs brokerage.
- Consolidate or deconsolidate containers when necessary.
- Research and select vendors/agents and arrange timely ground transportation and delivery.
- Track delivery status and communicate updates with applicable parties.
- Handle related accounting tasks (AP/AR closing etc.).
- Input servicing information into the internal system.
- Prepare and report service activities to the Ocean Import team manager(s).
- Troubleshoot customer inquiries.
- Support other ad-hoc projects as requested by management.
Required Qualifications
- 0-3 years of experience in logistics.
- Bilingual (English/Korean) required.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in MS Office.

- Bachelors degree and/or equivalent experience.
