Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and hands-on Controller to lead our accounting function and ensure the integrity accuracy and timeliness of financial reporting while improving processes and supporting strategic decision-making.
Key Responsibilities
Financial Reporting & Compliance
- Own GAAP financial statements and reporting
- Lead month-end and year-end close process
- Oversee accounting operations (GL AP/AR payroll revenue recognition)
- Manage audits and ensure compliance
Cash Management
-Monthly Bank Reconciliations
-Weekly Cash Balance Report
-Tie daily cash reports to SF
-Reconcile Petty Cash
Leadership & Team Management
- Lead and develop accounting team
- Seamlessly integrate acquisition targets
Process Improvement & Systems
- Drive automation and ERP improvements
Business Partnership
- Support leadership with insights budgeting and forecasting
Required skills/experience- Bachelors degree in Accounting or Finance
Preferred Qualifications
- Public accounting experience (Big 4 or regional firm)
- Experience in private equity-backed or high-growth environment
- ERP implementation or optimization experience (NetSuite SAP Oracle)
- Industry experience aligned with life sciences media or B2B services preferred

- 1015 years experience; 5 years as Controller
- Strong GAAP knowledge and team leadership experience
