Location

Job Description

• Lead and own the monthly financial close process.
• Develop and strengthen internal accounting processes and controls.
• Manage journal entries reconciliations accruals and financial reporting.
• Oversee WIP schedules deferred revenue and project accounting.
• Ensure accurate job costing and project profitability reporting.
• Partner with operations to improve financial visibility across active projects.
• Lead budgeting forecasting and management reporting.
• Support cash management billing collections and financial analysis.
• Maintain compliance with accounting standards and internal policies.
• Support audits and year-end financial reporting.
• Utilize QuickBooks Excel and financial reporting tools to improve efficiency.
• Serve as a trusted financial advisor to leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Accounting Finance or related field.
• 4 years of Finance Controller or Financial Controlling experience.
• 4 years of construction accounting experience.
• Strong knowledge of job costing WIP schedules percentage of completion accounting and project revenue recognition.
• Experience with QuickBooks.
• Experience with payroll processes including ADP 401(k) W-2 W-3 and 1099 reporting.
• Knowledge of state sales tax compliance.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• Experience supporting financial audits.
• Strong communication analytical and organizational skills.
