Role Overview

EID is looking for a Process Engineer (Process Operations and Control Technician) to join its Industrial Engineering this role you will be responsible for supporting and optimizing manufacturing processes across electronic assemblies cable harnesses subassemblies and final products.

Working closely with Development Engineering (R&D) Quality Production and Testing teams you will play a key role in ensuring the successful industrialization of products while maintaining high standards of quality efficiency reliability and operational excellence.

What Youll Do

• Develop implement and continuously improve manufacturing processes for PCB assemblies cable harnesses subassemblies and final products;

• Define validate and optimize electronic assembly processes including SMT THT soldering and rework activities;

• Provide technical support to production teams troubleshoot manufacturing issues and implement corrective and preventive actions;

• Create and maintain manufacturing documentation including work instructions FMEAs control plans and process specifications;

• Drive continuous improvement initiatives through Lean Manufacturing Kaizen and process optimization projects;

• Collaborate cross-functionally with Engineering Quality Production Planning and Logistics teams to ensure efficient and reliable operations.

Nice-to-Haves

• Experience with PCB assembly processes inspection systems (AOI and X-ray) and manufacturing testing environments;

• Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing continuous improvement methodologies and industrial performance indicators;

• Proficiency with data analysis and reporting tools such as Advanced Excel and Power BI;

• Experience working with ERP systems preferably SAP and other manufacturing support tools.
