Network Technician (Transmission & IP)

We are looking for a TX (Transmission) & IP Network Technician to join a telecommunications team focusing on the installation testing and maintenance of critical infrastructure. This role is ideal for professionals with relevant experience who are looking to strengthen their technical skills in a dynamic service-oriented environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform site survey activities support installation and acceptance of equipment in TX and IP network environments
• Conduct tests trials and measurements on TX and IP systems and equipment
• Execute circuit interconnections and activation testing ensuring proper solution performance
• Support the identification and diagnosis of network and system faults
• Collaborate in troubleshooting and fault resolution with Supervisory teams ensuring SLA compliance
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of technical processes and procedures

Qualifications :

• 2 to 4 years of professional experience in IP networks and telecommunications in similar roles
• Knowledge of Routing and Switching equipment (preferably ALU)
• Experience with transmission (TX) technologies such as SDH (Synchronous Digital Hierarchy) and WDM (Wavelength Division Multiplexing)
• Basic knowledge or willingness to learn about submarine cables (nice to have)
• Good command of MS Office tools
• Experience in testing measurements and circuit activation (preferred)
