Marine HVAC Supervisor

Our client is currently recruiting for the following position to join its team:

Marine HVAC Supervisor:

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise the onboard installation of marine HVAC and refrigeration systems.
• Coordinate installation teams subcontractors and shipyard departments.
• Ensure works are executed according to approved drawings specifications quality standards and project schedules.
• Monitor installation progress and prepare daily/weekly progress reports.
• Support testing commissioning and punch list completion.

Requirements

• Minimum 4 years of experience in marine HVAC installation including at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
• Proven experience in shipbuilding or ship repair projects (naval cruise vessels or offshore).
• Good knowledge of HVAC systems ductwork chilled water systems refrigeration insulation and ventilation.
• Ability to read and interpret HVAC drawings and technical documentation.
• Good communication and leadership skills.
• Good command of English (Portuguese is an advantage).

Preferred Qualifications

• Mechanical Engineering degree or equivalent technical qualification.
• Experience working with Classification Societies (DNV LR BV ABS etc.).
• Familiarity with AutoCAD and Microsoft Office.
