HVAC Mechanical Engineer

Our client is currently strengthening its team by hiring an HVAC Mechanical Engineer:

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop HVAC systems including heating ventilation air conditioning and related mechanical systems
• Prepare HVAC calculations (cooling/heating loads ventilation rates duct and pipe sizing equipment selection)
• Produce and review technical drawings layouts and specifications
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams (architectural electrical structural)
• Support project execution from concept design through construction and commissioning
• Review contractor submittals shop drawings and technical documentation
• Ensure designs comply with local and international codes standards and best practices
• Provide technical support during installation testing and commissioning phases
• Assist in cost estimation and value engineering when required

Required Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
• Minimum 2 years of experience in HVAC system design and/or engineering
• Good knowledge of HVAC principles equipment and materials
• Familiarity with relevant standards and codes (ASHRAE SMACNA ISO local codes etc.)
• Proficiency in AutoCAD
• Ability to perform engineering calculations and technical evaluations
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Good command of written and spoken English
