Embedded Software Developer Automotive Sensors (fmdiv.)
Job Summary
In this role you will take ownership of early-stage software development (V-model left side) ensuring robust architecture and compliance with functional safety standards such as ISO 26262.
Your contribution for something big:
- Translating system and customer requirements into detailed and structured software requirements
- Designing software architecture and modules using tools such as Enterprise Architect and PlantUML
- Developing high-quality MISRA-compliant embedded C code for microcontroller-based systems
- Performing static code analysis (e.g. Astrée) to ensure safety quality and robustness
- Creating and executing unit and integration tests using frameworks like CANTATA
- Ensuring full traceability across the development lifecycle using DOORS and Jira
- Collaborating closely with system hardware and testing teams to deliver integrated solutions
Qualifications :
What distinguishes you:
Education
- Degree in Computer Science Electrical Engineering or a related field
Experience
- Experience in embedded software development ideally in the automotive sector
- Hands-on involvement in V-model development especially requirements and design phases
Know-how
- Strong knowledge of embedded C programming
- Understanding of ISO 26262 functional safety standards
- Experience with software architecture and design principles
- Familiarity with tools such as DOORS Jira and Git
Languages
- Good communication skills in English
