Description:

**Actual Job Title: Supply Chain Specialist- Customer Service

On-site at La Verne
*5 days on-site to start. POSSIBLE change to 3 days on-site/ 2 days WFH after onboarding and training.
*Home office supplies (Monitors, keyboard, mouse, printers, etc) will NOT be provided
**COVID policy at Gilead must be met prior to starting role.

Key responsibilities will include (but are not limited) to the following:
Co-ordinate and maintain the sales order entry processing function orders, acknowledgements, invoicing, credits etc.
Manage queries from Customers or Sales Team in a timely manner
Be familiar with Products and Processes to facilitate swift responses to customer enquiries.
Participate in regular business reviews, conference calls and face to face, based on defined customer portfolios
Communicate with planning groups to ensure material availability and timely releases
Communicate with Distribution and Logistics to ensure accuracy regarding schedule adherence
Maintain accuracy on customer forecast information to support all planning activities
Maintain accurate and organized customer files for all orders, business reviews etc.
Timely preparation of weekly/monthly metrics as set out by site management
Ensure full compliance with regulatory requirements.
Ensure Quality and EHS policies and procedures are adhered to at all times
Analyze information required for the development or update of policy, procedure and form documentation.
Any other duties as required from time to time by your Manager

Professional Skills/ Knowledge
Third level Diploma / Degree in business, English, communications, technical writing or related to Supply Chain management
Previous experience in a Customer Service role
Excellent organizational skills
Excellent understanding of MS office
Experience within a Pharmaceutical (or regulated industry) and Supply chain environment preferred.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills with an ability to influence in a positive manner
Understanding of Quality Management and compliance systems within the Pharmaceutical industry
Ability to manage and drive projects to completion
Ability to work within a dynamic Team environment
