This is a remote position.
This is a remote position for contractors/freelancers within Spain.
My client is looking for a Senior UX / Product Designer who has excellent communication, presentation, interpersonal, and creative skills; the ability to be objective and communicate complex interaction concepts clearly and persuasively across different audiences and varying levels of an organization.
Candidates should have a diverse design portfolio demonstrating creativity, and innovation as well as a thorough understanding of best practice UX and interactive design methodologies.
Role & Responsibilities:
This role will involve working collaboratively with our clients product development teams.
It will also involve:
Liaising with product & business owners to gather requirements
Facilitating workshops
Planning product discovery & design using Agile methodologies
Estimating time required to deliver product discovery & design
Using analytical data & user research to identify user issues and inform design
Persona development & use case analysis
Problem Framing & User Journey Mapping
Information Architecture
Delivering well thought out UX design solutions
Creating hi-fidelity prototypes for client review & usability testing
Updating design assets to accommodate new or changed requirements
Creating interaction and functionality specifications and prep of assets for development
Monitor quality of the build and provide detailed feedback to developers and product owners
Govern client design systems in conjunction with the wider UX/UI Design team to ensure product-wide consistency.
Requirements
The successful candidate should have:
5+ Years of UX, UI and interaction design experience
Expert understanding of UX design best practice
Obsessive attention to detail
Excellent communication & organizational skills.
Deeply collaborative and iterative approach to product design
Experience working closely with developers
Experience designing mobile first and fully responsive web experiences
Experience in prototyping user journeys
A strong understanding of the tools and technologies involved in designing and building interactive digital experiences
A solid knowledge of what is possible in Android, iOS, and web development and of design and interaction patterns and trends within each
Note: Candidates should have a diverse design portfolio demonstrating creativity, and innovation as well as a thorough understanding of best practice UX and interactive design methodologies. Along with your CV, we require a link to your online portfolio (or to a PDF of your work) or a list of reference sites which you were responsible for the recent UI design. Applications without reference work are unlikely to be considered.
