6 years of experience building complex distributed systems

2 years using Snowflake in end to end solutions

Be a team player help others be respectful with each other and do your part to make the work day fun and impactful

Experience with one of the following is required:

Identifying and overcoming performance bottlenecks

Identifying and overcoming scalability challenges

Putting together disparate data into a consolidated view

Working on a scalable and distributed system in public clouds

Expert in SQL and the Python programming language

DAILY TASKS & RESPONSIBILITIES:

Work across functions and across teams we dont only work on code that we own we work with other parts of Snowflake every day

Design and develop features in snowflake understand customer requirements and meet business goals

Build highly reliable snowflake solutions to meet the needs of the largest customers

Enhance the programmability surface of Snowflake and improve the experience of the data developer

Analyze faulttolerance and high availability issues performance and scale challenges and solve them

Ensure operational readiness of the services and meet the commitments to our customers regarding reliability availability and performance

Proficient in SQL and the Python programming language
