M & D Mechanical Contractors is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Software Developer to join our team in Decatur AL. As a Software Developer you will be responsible for designing developing and maintaining software applications to meet the needs of our company and clients. This is a fulltime permanent position with opportunities for growth and advancement.

Key Responsibilities:

Design develop and maintain software applications using programming languages such as Java C and Python

Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to understand business needs and develop software solutions

Troubleshoot and debug software issues to ensure optimal performance

Write and maintain technical documentation for all software applications

Stay uptodate with emerging technologies and industry trends to continuously improve our software development processes

Conduct testing and quality assurance to ensure software meets specifications and requirements

Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members

Develop and maintain databases to support software applications

Provide technical support and training to end users as needed

Requirements:

Bachelors degree in Computer Science Software Engineering or related field

Minimum of 3 years of experience in software development

Strong proficiency in programming languages such as Java C and Python

Experience with database management and SQL

Knowledge of software development methodologies and best practices

Ability to work independently and in a team environment

Excellent problemsolving and analytical skills

Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines

Good communication and interpersonal skills
