The Regional Innovation Director leads all hub work, and plays a key role in ensuring the Hub’s work proceeds and grows as planned; is represented well within the IRC and externally; and is compliant with local laws, internal- or donor- regulations, and ethical standards. Activities include:
- Ensure smooth progression of existing projects
- Monitor progress against quarterly workplan;
- Ensure quarterly workplan is up-do-date at the beginning of each quarter
- Monitor compliance against existing grants, in particular monitoring the financial burn rates and reporting requirements
- Provide oversight on technical quality of projects, in particular through ensuring linkages to relevant technical staff at Airbel and the IRC, for example the practice leads.
