Job Description

Job Title: Quality Assurance Manager

Location: Remote

Experience: 10 Years

Responsibilities:

  1. Team Leadership:

    • Lead and mentor a team of QA professionals fostering a culture of collaboration innovation and excellence in quality assurance.
  2. Quality Strategy Development:

    • Develop and implement a comprehensive quality assurance strategy aligned with organizational goals and objectives.
  3. QA Process Improvement:

    • Continuously evaluate and enhance QA processes to optimize efficiency effectiveness and alignment with industry best practices.
  4. Test Planning and Execution:

    • Oversee the development and execution of test plans test cases and test scripts for software applications ensuring thorough coverage.
  5. Automation Strategy:

    • Define and implement an automation strategy selecting appropriate tools and frameworks to increase testing efficiency and coverage.
  6. Risk Management:

    • Identify and mitigate project risks related to quality working collaboratively with project teams to ensure successful outcomes.
  7. Metrics and Reporting:

    • Establish and track key performance indicators (KPIs) for quality assurance providing regular reports to stakeholders on QA status progress and areas for improvement.
  8. Collaboration with Development and Operations:

    • Collaborate with development and operations teams to ensure a seamless integration of QA processes into the software development life cycle.
  9. Compliance and Standards:

    • Ensure compliance with industry standards regulatory requirements and company policies related to quality assurance.
  10. Vendor Management:

    • Collaborate with thirdparty vendors for testing services ensuring quality deliverables and adherence to project timelines.
  11. Training and Development:

    • Conduct training sessions for QA team members to enhance their skills and keep them abreast of the latest testing methodologies and tools.
  12. Continuous Improvement:

    • Foster a culture of continuous improvement within the QA team encouraging innovation and the adoption of emerging QA technologies.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or a related field.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in quality assurance with at least 5 years in a managerial or leadership role.

Skills and Competencies:

  • Indepth knowledge of software testing methodologies tools and best practices.
  • Proven experience in implementing and managing automated testing solutions.
  • Strong analytical and problemsolving skills with attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively collaborate with crossfunctional teams.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills and the ability to inspire and motivate a highperforming QA team.
  • Familiarity with agile and DevOps methodologies.
  • Experience with performance testing and security testing is a plus.

Certifications:

  • Relevant certifications in quality assurance such as ISTQB CSTE or equivalent are highly desirable.
