*Shifts: This position will train on day shift but will move to nights starting at 11PM EST*

Integrated Regional Labs is a full service provider for clinical laboratory and anatomic pathology services providing hospitals physicians and clients with timely diagnostic information for patient care. Our infrastructure includes a fully automated esoteric core laboratory in Fort Lauderdale a histology and microbiology operation in Largo Florida and a network of hospital based rapidresponse laboratories present in four HCA Healthcare divisions within the state of Florida. Our core laboratories support more than 250 acute and rehab hospitals physician practices surgery centers and commercial accounts.

Position Summary:

You Will:

Supervise technical and/or nontechnical laboratory personnel and daily operations in assigned areas/shifts to achieve organization and regulatory requirements.

Supervise personnel processes service levels regulatory compliance and service levels in assigned areas. Functional areas of responsibility may include but are not limited to technical discipline areas in which department is licenses specimen collection specimen processing and specimen referral testing

Responsible for achieving department goals for service quality regulatory compliance financial performance personnel management patient satisfaction healthy work environment and integration of intra and interdepartmental activities in areas of responsibility.

Demonstrates skill required to supervise teach and motivate staff

Review and approve payroll time sheets purchasing requisitions check requests and scheduling requests

Qualifications:

4 year Bachelor s degree in Medical Technology required

5 years experience as a Medical Technologist * ACUTE CARE EXPERIENCE IS A MUST

State of Florida Supervisor License in Histology or the ability to obtain
