Position Overview:We are looking for a Frenchspeaking Content Moderator to join our team in Lisbon Portugal. In this role you will be responsible for reviewing and moderating usergenerated content on various digital platforms to ensure compliance with our community guidelines and standards. You will have the opportunity to work with a diverse team of moderators leveraging your language skills and cultural awareness to help create a positive online environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review and moderate usergenerated content in French across multiple digital platforms including social media forums and messaging apps.
  • Identify and remove inappropriate offensive or harmful content including but not limited to hate speech harassment and graphic imagery.
  • Enforce community guidelines and standards consistently and fairly while also providing constructive feedback to users when necessary.
  • Collaborate with crossfunctional teams including legal engineering and customer support to address escalated issues and implement effective solutions.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in content moderation continuously seeking opportunities for improvement and innovation.

Qualifications:

  • Fluent in French both written and spoken with excellent grammar and communication skills.
  • Proficient in English with the ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with international teams.
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to maintain accuracy while working in a fastpaced environment.
  • Empathetic and culturally sensitive with a deep understanding of diverse perspectives and backgrounds.
  • Prior experience in content moderation or customer support is preferred but not required.
  • Bachelors degree or equivalent work experience preferred.
