Key Responsibilities
Own ecommerce endtoend
  • Define & oversee strategy and operations
  • Grow sales & market share
  • Define key metrics/ KPIs and their targets for the year
  • Manage overall ecommerce budget & deliver P&L targets
  • Drive digitalfirst interactions from acquisition through conversion
Team structure & management
  • Define structure roles responsibilities and KPIs for new team members
  • Manage staff KPIs & role transitions/ assignments
Manage online platforms & operations
  • Oversee and grow ecommerce touchpoints; marketplaces social media & inhouse; from customer acquisition to fulfillment and retargeting
  • Forecast sales to ensure stock availability
  • Manage 360 marketing plan covering both campaigns and promotions
Drive sales growth
  • Performance marketing
  • Customer acquisition conversion & ROAS
  • Campaign & budget optimization
Partnerships/ collaborations
  • External Build relationships to bring in marketing funding from partners
  • Internal Collaborate with supply chain and IT to ensure alignment of ecommerce initiatives with overall business


Requirements

Previous Roles
  • Ecommerce either marketplace (e.g. Shopee Grab) or inhouse
  • Tenure at least 5 years within ecommerce retail and/or performance marketing
  • Seniority has led teams preferably Head1 i.e. reporting directly to the Dept. Head
  • Previous role responsibilities Marketplace: Responsible for FMCG category or brand/ key account growth and Inhouse: Responsible for endtoend operations across multiple platforms
Knowledge Areas
Should have deep understanding/ familiarity in the following areas

Leading marketplaces (e.g. Shopee)
  • How to leverage incentives available for partners whether brandowners (e.g. Unilever ) or distributors/ retailers (e.g. 99 Speedmart )
  • Tools and KPIs available to increase visibility grow customer base & track ROI on marketing investments e.g. ads/ banners vouchers/ promos
Ecommerce operations
  • Sales analysis and stock forecasting
  • Performance marketing across platforms (Google Facebook Affiliates)
Gotomarket
  • Develop roadmap for shorttolong term strategy for growing the eCommerce business
  • Explore growth and expansion of new eCommerce channels (e.g. TikTok shop)
  • Develop business case & forecast alongside internal stakeholders (e.g. finance business strategy)
Team structure & management
  • Define structure roles & responsibilities required within the eCommerce team
  • Managing & prioritizing team deliverables
  • Lead & coach juniors
