Disability Support Worker (Casual) Rowville - Evenings Only

Join our clients support worker team based in Melbourne supporting a client located in Rowville with his daily evening routine which has enabled him to regain his independence at home with his small pet dog.

Previous experience of working with a person with a ABI/Stroke, manual handling, medication assistance and support, and gravity PEG feeding is required

Various evening shifts 7.30 pm to 10.30 pm are available 7 days a week.

Requirements

Your role will involve supporting the client to participate in their day-to-day evening activities and routines associated with their mealtime (gravity PEG) , medication support and personal care.

Qualification & Experience

• Gravity PEG Feeding experience
  
• Experience of working with clients with ABI
  
• Police & NDIS screening checks (or willing to secure)
  
• Current First Aid & CPR Certificates
  
• 100 Points of ID
  
• Must be highly proficient in written and verbal English communication and record keeping

Hourly Pay Rates

Casual, Standard Weekday / Training $31.90 ex super per hour / Complex Weekday Evening $38.63 ex super per hour / Complex Saturday Evening $48.96 ex super per hour / Complex Sunday Evening $62.74 ex super per hour.
