This is a remote position.

Job Overview: We are looking for a resilient empathic business development manager to contribute to the growth of our company. As a Business Development Manager you will be responsible for driving the growth and expansion of the company by identifying new business opportunities building strategic relationships and leading initiatives to enhance the organizations market presence. This role would focus on forming strategic alliances with industry leaders in the industry leaders in the insurance and service providers sectors (Telecommunication financial services).


Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate potential partners conduct due diligence and negotiate partnership agreements.
  • Conduct thorough market research to identify potential business opportunities market trends and competitor activities.
  • Analyse market data to develop strategies for market penetration and expansion.
  • Identify and target potential clients and partners through proactive lead generation efforts.
  • Develop and maintain a robust pipeline of business prospects.
  • Maintaining meaningful relationships with existing clients to ensure that they are retained.
  • Develop and implement business development strategies aligned with the organizations goals and objectives.
  • Collaborate with senior management to define longterm business development goals.
  • Prepare regular reports on business development activities sales performance and progress toward goals.
  • Analyse key performance indicators to assess the effectiveness of business development initiatives.
  • Lead the targeting of unsolicited bids/proposals based on replicable wins to accelerate progression of new opportunities.
  • Become the recognized service line competency leader and sales subject matter expert within your territory.
  • Collaborate with internal teams including marketing product development and operations to ensure seamless execution of business development strategies.
  • Provide insights to support product/service enhancements based on client feedback and market trends.
  • Develop and manage budgets related to business development activities.


Requirements

  • A Bachelors or Masters Degree in any related field.
  • Extensive sales experience.
  • Strong understanding of market dynamics and business strategy.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain effective relationships.
  • Resultsdriven with a focus on achieving and exceeding targets.
  • Strategic thinker with strong problemsolving skills.
  • Ability to travel as needed.
  • Ability to generate revenue by identifying pain points and suggesting suitable products or services.
  • Experience in the insurance industry or other financial services will be an advantage.
