Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Azure DevOps Engineer to join our team in Richmond VA. As an Azure DevOps Engineer you will be responsible for designing implementing and maintaining Azure cloud infrastructure as well as establishing and optimizing DevOps processes and workflows. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Azure cloud technologies experience with CI/CD pipelines proficiency in resource management tools such as Ansible or Terraform and expertise in scripting and coding.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design implement and manage Azure cloud infrastructure including networking IaaS PaaS cost management security and monitoring.
• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitAction/TeamCity Pipelines for efficient deployment and management of Azure resources.
• Utilize resource management tools such as Ansible Terraform or similar technologies for automated provisioning and configuration of resources.
• Collaborate with development teams to establish and optimize DevOps processes and workflows.
• Provide support and troubleshooting for Azure cloud infrastructure and DevOps tools.
• Write scripts and code in Python C# or other objectoriented languages to automate tasks and enhance system functionality.
• Monitor and analyze system performance logging alerting and reporting using tools such as Splunk DataDog and Azure reporting.
• Implement and manage container technologies such as Azure ACI Docker Desktop and Kubernetes for containerized applications.

Required Skills:

• 35 years of experience in Azure cloud technologies including networking IaaS PaaS cost management security and monitoring.
• Proficiency in setting up and managing CI/CD pipelines using GitAction TeamCity or similar tools.
• Experience with resource management tools such as Ansible Terraform or similar technologies.
• Strong Linux and Microsoft commandline experience.
• Scripting and coding experience in Python C# or other objectoriented languages.
• Knowledge and understanding of logging alerting monitoring and reporting tools such as Splunk DataDog and Azure reporting.
• Familiarity with container technologies such as Azure ACI Docker Desktop and Kubernetes.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science Engineering or related field.
• Microsoft Azure certifications (e.g. Azure Administrator Azure Developer Azure DevOps Engineer).
