- Base Salary: $180000 $200000
- Annual Bonus: $5000 $20000 after 1800 billable hours
Position Overview
A law firm is seeking a Litigation Associate to handle complex litigation matters across a variety of industries. This role is ideal for an attorney who thrives in a fast-paced environment and seeks strong career growth opportunities while working on sophisticated litigation matters.
Practice Areas
Candidates should have experience in one or more of the following:
- Commercial Real Estate
- Construction Litigation
- Property Liability
- Employment Law
- Mass Tort Defense
Key Responsibilities
- Manage litigation matters from inception through resolution
- Conduct legal research and draft motions pleadings and discovery responses
- Assist with depositions hearings mediations and trial preparation
- Support case strategy and overall litigation management
- Communicate effectively with attorneys clients and opposing counsel
- Maintain organized case files and ensure deadlines are met
Qualifications
- An active North Carolina Bar license is required
- 26 years of litigation experience preferred
- Candidates with 1 years of relevant litigation experience will also be considered
- Strong legal writing analytical and organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment
- Self-motivated with strong attention to detail
- Experience in the listed practice areas strongly preferred
