Operational Support Officer OSCE Vienna (This position is only open to candidates with Norwegian citizenship)

• Support operational planning and implementation including crisis preparedness and response and the establishment restructuring or closure of field operations
• Develop and update operational guidelines templates and standard operating procedures
• Support crisis simulation exercises to strengthen preparedness and response
• Contribute to after-action reviews lessons learned and good practices to improve effectiveness and preserve institutional memory
• Support conflict cycle work through early-warning analysis methodological advice and coordination of early-warning focal points
• Contribute to concepts tools and analytical and organizational support on conflict-cycle issues including meetings and Chairpersonship support

• University degree in political science international relations or a related field
• Minimum 7 years (or 5 with an advanced degree) of relevant professional experience in international relations analysis and operational planning
• Experience in international or field settings (asset)
• Expertise in early warning conflict prevention and resolution crisis management and postconflict rehabilitation
• Strong political judgment analytical and research skills and experience with lessonslearned methodologies
• Familiarity with conflict analysis and earlywarning tools including GIS or AIbased systems (asset)
• Excellent English communication skills; knowledge of another OSCE language (asset)
• Demonstrated gender sensitivity and ability to integrate a gender perspective
• Strong teamwork skills in diverse multicultural environments with impartiality
• Proficiency in Microsoft applications and database use
