Location
This is an on-site role based in the Augusta GA area offering the opportunity to work closely with attorneys clients and litigation support staff in a professional law firm setting.
Note
Candidates must be licensed to practice law in Georgia and have 2 years of employment litigation experience. Wage and hour workplace disputes discrimination retaliation harassment restrictive covenant or employer-side litigation experience is preferred.

Job Description
- Represent clients in employment litigation matters including workplace disputes discrimination retaliation harassment wage and hour and related claims.
- Draft pleadings motions briefs discovery requests discovery responses position statements correspondence and other litigation documents.
- Conduct legal research and develop litigation strategies in partnership with supervising attorneys and clients.
- Manage discovery document review case deadlines and case preparation from early stages through resolution.
- Assist with depositions hearings mediations settlement discussions and trial preparation.
- Communicate with clients opposing counsel courts and internal team members in a professional and responsive manner.
- Support a broader litigation practice as needed including general civil litigation and business-related disputes.
- Maintain strong organization attention to detail and follow-through across an active caseload.
Qualifications
- Juris Doctor from an accredited law school.
- Active Georgia Bar license in good standing required.
- 2 years of employment litigation experience required.
- Experience with wage and hour disputes workplace investigations discrimination retaliation harassment restrictive covenants or employer-side litigation preferred.
- Strong legal research writing drafting and analytical skills.
- Experience handling discovery motions pleadings and litigation deadlines.
- Ability to work on-site and collaborate closely with attorneys clients and staff.
- Professional responsive detail-oriented and able to manage multiple matters in a busy law firm environment.
