Salary:
Location: London
This role will involve supporting the People team as a shared services function in achieving our business and people objectives and providing a customer focussed service. Assisting line managers and our people through professional commercial and pragmatic HR advice and support across all areas of the employment life cycle. Taking accountability for the running of the monthly payroll process.
Key Responsibilities:
Provides professional and confidential HR support and administration across the full range of HR activity including L&D terms and conditions of service benefits provision recruitment and payroll.
Leads the monthly payroll process ensuring payroll information is accurate and has had the appropriate checks.
Production of relevant HR correspondence and contractual documents.
Providing admin support to the team including arranging meetings and minute-taking.
Develops positive relationships with colleagues learns and understands our organisation and our customers/members ensuring our people and our customers at the heart of what we do.
Requirements for the role:
A drive to learn and develop within a HR environment.
At least 1-years knowledge and experience of payroll administration.
Strong IT and numeracy skills with experience in using Microsoft Word Excel PowerPoint and Outlook.
Ability to deal tactfully and diplomatically and maintain confidentiality with internal and external stakeholders.
Being efficient and proactive along with a high attention to detail.
How we are currently working:
The Royal College supports and works in a hybrid way which means you will be able to work from home however there will be an expectation for collaborative face-to-face working on average and typically this may be something between 4-8 working days per month at our London Office.
