What you will do
Maintain hazard logs registers and tracking systems
Support hazard management from identification through mitigation and closure
Administer the Employee Safety Reporting Program including intake tracking and follow-up
Ensure safety reports are documented accurately timely and confidentially
Classify hazards using risk frameworks and support prioritization
Track corrective actions monitor progress and escalate overdue or high-risk items
Analyze hazard and reporting data to identify trends and recurring issues
Prepare reports summaries and dashboards for stakeholders
Support audits regulatory reviews and compliance documentation
Coordinate with safety operations maintenance and compliance teams to resolve issues
What you bring
5 plus years of experience in hazard management safety reporting or risk analysis
Experience in transit transportation or other regulated environments preferred
Experience managing hazard logs incident reports or safety tracking systems
Experience analyzing safety data and preparing reports or dashboards
Strong analytical organizational and communication skills
Working knowledge of safety management systems and risk mitigation practices
Familiarity with OSHA FTA or similar safety frameworks
Nice to have
Experience supporting employee safety reporting programs or similar systems
Experience in bus rail or multimodal transit environments
Certifications such as ASP CSP SMS or similar
Experience with data visualization tools such as Power BI
Experience supporting audits or compliance programs
