Our client in the agricultural sector is seeking a dynamic and experienced Accountant to be responsible for managing and ensuring compliance with all foreign payment processes and regulatory requirements.
This role involves liaising with financial institutions suppliers and internal departments to facilitate efficient processing monitoring and reconciliation of foreign transactions and related obligations.
Salary and Benefits:
Main Responsibilities:
- Prepare compile and submit applications to the Reserve Bank of Zimbabwe for the registration of foreign supplier credit arrangements and service contracts.
- Process and submit foreign supplier payments including the preparation of all supporting schedules and required documentation.
- Maintain and update acquittal schedules for all advance payments and liaise with banks to obtain weekly schedules via the Reserve Bank of Zimbabwe (RBZ) CEBAS system.
- Compile detailed breakdown schedules and submit supporting documentation for acquittals extensions and corrections of foreign supplier payments on the Reserve Bank of Zimbabwe (RBZ) CEBAS system.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all supplier credit arrangement / service contracts and reconciliation with the Reserve Bank of Zimbabwe (RBZ) CEBAS system.
- Prepare and submit Willing Buyer Willing Seller (WBWS) applications to facilitate the utilization of excess ZWG funds.
- Monitor and maintain schedules of funds allocated through the WBWS platform including detailed tracking of supplier invoices settled.
- Process payments for Non-Residents Withholding Tax to the Zimbabwe Revenue Authority (ZIMRA).
- Prepare and issue Non-Residents Withholding Tax Certificates.
- Ensure full Know Your Customer (KYC) compliance with all banking institutions.
- Respond to and resolve all bank-related queries in a timely and professional manner.
- Perform any other duties as assigned by management.

- Attention to detail and high level of accuracy.
- Excellent organizational and record-keeping skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Effective communication skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
Qualifications:
- Accounting Degree Finance Degree or equivalent qualification.
- At least 3 years experience with foreign payments and RBZ compliance.
