Key job responsibilities
The Sr Program Manager will have a proven track record of developing and implementing complex programs - from idea to launch - in partnership with cross-functional teams. You will own and drive initiatives to continually improve the recruiting lifecycle. You will define timelines and communicate on status risks and process changes. You will need to thrive and deliver results in an ambiguous fast-paced dynamic business environment operating in all levels of the organization. You should be comfortable with a degree of ambiguity and fast pace and relish the idea of solving hard problems.
This position requires analytical strength attention to detail excellent written and verbal communication and the ability to synthesize moving parts and drive the business forward. The role demands a strong sense of urgency the ability to influence and make sound judgement calls and willingness to roll up your sleeves.
A day in the life
As a program leader you will partner strategically with senior leaders across Amazons People Experience and Technology team representatives across Amazons lines of business and internal AUTA team colleagues as the voice of the customer. You will be responsible for refining existing processes and building new processes that connect candidates with opportunities at Amazon. Key areas of focus include: application processes interviewing candidate assessments candidate placement and offers.
- 3 years of program or project management experience
- 3 years of working cross functionally with tech and non-tech teams experience
- 3 years of defining and implementing process improvement initiatives using data and metrics experience
- Bachelors degree
- Knowledge of Excel (Pivot Tables VLookUps) at an advanced level and SQL
- Experience defining program requirements and using data and metrics to determine improvements
- 3 years of driving end to end delivery and communicating results to senior leadership experience
- 3 years of driving process improvements experience
- Experience in stakeholder management dealing with multiple stakeholders at varied levels of the organization
- Experience building processes project management and schedules
