Responsibilities:
- Make high-volume outbound calls to patients needing to schedule primary care appointments.
- Schedule appointments accurately based on provider availability and clinic location
- Update patient demographics ineClinicalWorks (ECW)
- Ensure appropriate scheduling for routine visits physicals follow-ups and annual wellness visits.
- Provide information about locations providers clinic hours services and visit preparation.
- Communicate with different clinic teams to coordinate urgent scheduling needs
- Meet performance metrics such as calls per day appointment conversion rate scheduling accuracy and patient satisfaction
- Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA standards
Skills & Qualifications:
- 1 year of experience in primary care medical scheduling or a healthcare call center preferred.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; medical administrative training a plus
- Hands-on experience using eClinicalWorks (ECW)strongly preferred
- Excellent communication problem-solving and customer service skills
- Ability to multitask stay organized and perform well in a high-volume setting
- Positive attitude and team-oriented mindset
- Bilingual (Spanish) is a strong plus
