About Optima Medical:
Optima Medical is an Arizona-based medical group consisting of 30 locations and over 130 medical providers who care for more than 200000 patients statewide. We go beyond primary care with a full spectrum of services including cardiovascular health services behavioral health allergy testing and immunotherapy in-house lab testing imaging chronic disease management and other specialty health services. Responsibilities:
  • Make high-volume outbound calls to patients needing to schedule primary care appointments.
  • Schedule appointments accurately based on provider availability and clinic location
  • Update patient demographics ineClinicalWorks (ECW)
  • Ensure appropriate scheduling for routine visits physicals follow-ups and annual wellness visits.
  • Provide information about locations providers clinic hours services and visit preparation.
  • Communicate with different clinic teams to coordinate urgent scheduling needs
  • Meet performance metrics such as calls per day appointment conversion rate scheduling accuracy and patient satisfaction
  • Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA standards
Skills & Qualifications:
  • 1 year of experience in primary care medical scheduling or a healthcare call center preferred.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; medical administrative training a plus
  • Hands-on experience using eClinicalWorks (ECW)strongly preferred
  • Excellent communication problem-solving and customer service skills
  • Ability to multitask stay organized and perform well in a high-volume setting
  • Positive attitude and team-oriented mindset
  • Bilingual (Spanish) is a strong plus
