Assignment Length: 13 Weeks (Contract)
Position Type: Full-Time Contract
We are seeking an experienced and dependable Medical Assistant to join a busy Family Medicine practice for a 13-week contract assignment. The ideal candidate will have experience in Family Medicine and/or Internal Medicine excellent patient care skills and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced clinical environment.
Schedule-
Monday Friday: 9:00 AM 5:00 PM

Room patients and obtain vital signs medical histories and other pertinent patient information.

Assist physicians advanced practice providers and clinical staff with examinations procedures and treatments.

Prepare and maintain examination and treatment rooms.

Accurately document patient information diagnoses symptoms treatment plans and follow-up instructions in the EMR system.

Transcribe provider orders including laboratory tests radiology studies medications referrals and other clinical orders.

Schedule patient appointments and coordinate patient flow to ensure efficient clinic operations.

Perform administrative duties including answering phones maintaining records filing documents and assisting with patient communications.

Manage clinical supplies by ordering stocking and maintaining inventory levels.

Maintain a clean organized and safe patient care environment.

Adhere to clinic policies infection control protocols and regulatory standards.

Provide exceptional customer service and support to patients and their families.

Minimum of 1 year of Medical Assistant experience in Family Medicine and/or Internal Medicine.

Current BLS (Basic Life Support) Certification required.

Strong communication organizational and interpersonal skills.

Ability to multitask and work independently in a fast-paced setting.

Dependable professional and patient-focused attitude.

Medical Assistant Certification (CMA RMA CCMA or equivalent) preferred.

Experience with Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems.

Previous experience documenting provider encounters and transcribing patient orders.
