Position Summary:
The Service Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the service department ensuring high-quality customer service efficient workflow and profitability. This role leads service technicians manages schedules and maintains strong customer relationships.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and support service technicians and staff
- Schedule and manage daily workflow to maximize efficiency
- Ensure timely and accurate completion of service jobs
- Maintain high levels of customer satisfaction and handle escalations
- Monitor department performance productivity and profitability
- Train coach and develop team members
- Maintain compliance with safety and company policies
- Coordinate with parts and sales departments as needed
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in service management or a related field
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Excellent communication and customer service abilities
- Organizational and problem-solving skills
- Technical knowledge relevant to the industry (automotive diesel equipment etc.) preferred
