Job Summary
Part-time Nurse (holding a functional title of Research Nurse) / Enrolled Nurse (several posts) in the Division of Community Medicine and Public Health Practice School of Public Health (Ref.: 534847) (to commence as soon as possible for 6 to 12 months with the possibility of renewal subject to funding availability and satisfactory performance)
Applicants should possess a Bachelors degree and be a Registered Nurse with the Nursing Council of Hong Kong. They should have experience in public health research and community-based outreach and health promotion activities. Applicants should also demonstrate strong organizational interpersonal and communication skills as well as the ability to work independently and collaboratively in a dynamic environment. Experience in various community or field settings including schools and households would be an advantage. Those who are registered as Enrolled Nurse with the Nursing Council of Hong Kong may be considered for appointment as Enrolled Nurse.
The appointees will support the implementation of various large-scale public health programmes and research studies. They will recruit participants perform health education and data collection. They will also perform clinical procedures (influenza vaccination and phlebotomy) in various community setting and provide support to junior colleagues.
