Job Summary
Executive Officer (holding the functional title of Events Manager) in the Department of Architecture (Ref.: 534856) (to commence on June 1 2026 or as soon as possible on a two-year fixed-term basis with contract-end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme totalling up to 10% of basic salary with the possibility of renewal)
Applicants should have a recognized Bachelors degree with at least 5 years solid work experience in communication publication event management basic account management and/or other related fields preferably in a tertiary institution. They should also have an excellent command of written and spoken English and Chinese (including Putonghua); strong interpersonal communication organizational problem-solving and event management skills; proficiency in IT skills able to work independently and under pressure to meet tight deadlines. They should also be a good team leader and player self-motivated with strong sense of responsibility and ethics hardworking able to multi-task and attentive to details.
The appointee will be responsible for the Departments public programmes such as lecture series seminars symposiums exhibitions publicity events and other duties as assigned. The appointee may be required to work outside normal office hours and on weekends.
A highly competitive salary commensurate with qualifications and experience will be offered in addition to annual leave and medical benefits.
