Key Responsibilities:
Operational Management
Oversee daily operations of the hospital ensuring efficiency across all departments
Manage clinical and non-clinical staff equipment and facility resources
Ensure compliance with healthcare standards policies and regulations
Drive productivity and cost-efficiency across the facility
Clinical Services Oversight
Supervise delivery of services including emergency inpatient outpatient maternity theatre diagnostics and allied health
Ensure high-quality patient care standards are consistently met
Monitor staff-to-patient ratios rosters and overtime approvals
Ensure accuracy in billing and service delivery
Leadership & Human Resources
Lead motivate and develop multidisciplinary teams
Oversee recruitment staffing structures and workforce planning
Conduct performance reviews and implement training programmes
Promote a positive and productive work environment
Manage disciplinary processes in line with HR policies
Customer Service Excellence
Ensure exceptional patient experience and satisfaction
Monitor and improve patient waiting times and service delivery
Address complaints effectively and implement corrective actions
Uphold patient dignity confidentiality and rights
Financial & Administrative Management
Manage budgets costs and financial performance
Monitor revenue expenditure and operational efficiency
Oversee inventory stock control and procurement processes
Prepare and submit regular operational and financial reports
Ensure accurate documentation and record-keeping
Health Safety & Compliance
Ensure adherence to health and safety standards
Oversee infection control and staff health programmes
Ensure staff receive required training and certifications
Maintain emergency preparedness and response protocols
Quality Management
Implement and monitor quality assurance systems and audits
Ensure the facility remains audit-ready at all times
Manage incident reporting and risk mitigation processes
Drive continuous improvement initiatives
Minimum Requirements:
Bachelors degree in Health Administration/Management or related field
Clinical qualification (e.g. Registered Nurse Registered Midwife or equivalent)
Minimum of 5 years experience in a clinical management role within a medium to large healthcare facility
Additional Requirements:
Strong administrative and organisational skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
High level of integrity and professionalism
Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
Willingness to travel when required
