RQ00582 - Sr. Business Analyst

6-month contract (132 business days) - possible extension

Hybrid 3 days office - 55 John St. Toronto Ontario

The purpose of the Diversity Data Collection & Reporting Modernization Project is to assess how the City can best collect and appropriately use socio-demographic data collection and reporting across HR Business Processes to better understand the experiences of FNIM Black and equity-deserving staff. The project aims to provide evidence and recommendations to modernize the delivery of more equitable and transparent human resource services throughout the employee journey.

It is important that the Services be undertaken by a Software & Infrastructure Tester who can demonstrate specific knowledge of and experience in performing similar work for projects of comparable nature size and scope as detailed below.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience delivering business & IT analytical work packages including developing current- state and future-state assessment reports process and workflow diagrams data flow diagrams business requirements documents costbenefit analysis and supporting financial analysis.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience working in human resources business functions and HR information systems.
  • Strong understanding of data warehouses sources of data and data relationships to generate meaningful insights and reports.
  • Strong knowledge of business rules and modeling techniques including architecture use case modeling conceptual and logical data modeling business rules and non-functional requirements definitions.
  • Excellent stakeholder management team collaboration and problem-solving skills with the ability to meet multiple project deadlines and support project documentation.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively with all levels of staff including senior management subject matter experts internal and external stakeholders.
  • Advanced proficiency with modeling tools such as Visio .

Must Haves:
