Overview
We are looking for a candidate to join a small professional team within the client site in Helensburgh organisation but this role will also span to support the Programme Director for a major programme. The team is responsible ensuring Programme delivery is fully integrated with site readiness to deliver a safe secure and effective docking and engineering support capability.
The Project Support Officer is responsible to the Assistant Head in supporting the integration of the project interfaces within the client site. Ensuring their outputs adhere to site processes and operating procedures.
Key Responsibilities
- Document Control: Manage receipt tracking & distribution of Programme Euston documents; ensure actions are completed on time
- Systems Management: Maintain SharePoint & Teams in line with (file plans naming conventions updates)
- Mailbox Coordination: Oversee team inbox prioritise responses & share key communications
- Meetings & Governance: Organise meetings circulate papers record Actions & Decisions (RoADs) track follow-ups
- Reporting Support: Help develop trackers dashboards briefings & process maps
- Team Support: Coordinate admin tasks and key team activities
- Stakeholder Engagement: Build relationships and act as a key point of contact across HMNBC & Programme Euston
- Collaboration: Work with internal teams partners & industry to support delivery objectives
- Communication: Provide updates reports & information to stakeholders and meetings
Qualifications :
Essential Skills and Experience
Microsoft (MS) 365 Packages incl Project PowerPoint SharePoint and Teams
Desirable Skills and Experience
Managing Successful Programmes and/or Management of Portfolios
Risk Analysis and Management

With this post there is a requirement to be onsite in Helensburgh to facilitate workshops routine meetings and site visits and to engage with the wider team this is currently a minimum of 2 days per week and maximum 4 days per week but could require more or less at specific times of the programme and should be flexible to facilitate this business need in agreement with Line Manager.
There will also be some travel to Glasgow and potentially external offices of contractors if necessary.
