Job Summary

  • Identify evaluate and pursue new business opportunities across Central Africa focusing on technology-driven sectors.
  • Develop and execute targeted business development strategies to expand market share and increase revenue.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders including enterprise clients channel partners and industry influencers.
  • Conduct market research and competitive analysis to inform strategic decision-making and positioning.
  • Lead proposal development presentations and negotiations to secure high-value contracts.
  • Collaborate with product marketing and technical teams to tailor solutions that meet client needs.
  • Monitor sales pipeline performance and report on key metrics to senior leadership.
  • Represent the company at industry events trade shows and networking forums to enhance brand visibility.
  • Achieve and exceed quarterly and annual sales targets in alignment with business objectives.


Requirements

  • Bachelors degree in Business Administration Marketing Engineering or a related field.
  • 25 years of proven experience in business development sales or account management within the technology sector.
  • Demonstrated success in generating new business and closing deals in emerging markets.
  • Strong understanding of technology products and services including SaaS cloud solutions or digital transformation tools.
  • Excellent communication negotiation and presentation skills in English and French (preferred).
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced results-oriented environment.
  • Proficiency in CRM tools (e.g. Salesforce HubSpot) and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Willingness to travel frequently across Central Africa regions.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with a proactive approach to problem-solving and opportunity identification.
