Job Summary


  • Manage end-to-end procurement processes for technology equipment infrastructure components and operational supplies across Central Africa.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers vendors and logistics partners to ensure competitive pricing quality assurance and timely delivery.
  • Prepare and issue purchase requisitions RFQs and purchase orders in compliance with company policies and procurement standards.
  • Monitor and track shipment status customs clearance and delivery timelines to prevent project delays.
  • Coordinate with internal stakeholders (project managers finance operations) to align procurement activities with project needs and budgets.
  • Resolve supply chain disruptions and expedite deliveries through proactive communication and problem-solving.
  • Maintain accurate procurement records contracts and documentation in compliance with internal and external regulations.
  • Conduct regular supplier performance evaluations and recommend improvements or replacements as needed.
  • Ensure adherence to local import regulations customs requirements and documentation standards in Central African countries.
  • Identify cost-saving opportunities through market analysis bulk purchasing and strategic sourcing initiatives.


Requirements


  • Bachelors degree in Supply Chain Management Business Administration Logistics or a related field.
  • 25 years of proven experience in procurement supply chain or logistics within the technology infrastructure or industrial sector.
  • Strong understanding of international and regional trade regulations particularly in Central Africa.
  • Proficiency in procurement software ERP systems and Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel for data analysis and reporting).
  • Excellent negotiation communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to manage multiple stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage tight deadlines and operate effectively in high-pressure environments.
  • Fluency in English; proficiency in French is highly advantageous given the regional context.
  • Willingness to travel across Central African countries as required.
  • Experience with customs documentation freight forwarding and import/export compliance.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational and analytical skills.
