Job Summary

Manage end-to-end procurement processes for technology equipment infrastructure components and operational supplies across Central Africa.
Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers vendors and logistics partners to ensure competitive pricing quality assurance and timely delivery.
Prepare and issue purchase requisitions RFQs and purchase orders in compliance with company policies and procurement standards.
Monitor and track shipment status customs clearance and delivery timelines to prevent project delays.
Coordinate with internal stakeholders (project managers finance operations) to align procurement activities with project needs and budgets.
Resolve supply chain disruptions and expedite deliveries through proactive communication and problem-solving.
Maintain accurate procurement records contracts and documentation in compliance with internal and external regulations.
Conduct regular supplier performance evaluations and recommend improvements or replacements as needed.
Ensure adherence to local import regulations customs requirements and documentation standards in Central African countries.
Identify cost-saving opportunities through market analysis bulk purchasing and strategic sourcing initiatives.

Requirements

Bachelors degree in Supply Chain Management Business Administration Logistics or a related field.
25 years of proven experience in procurement supply chain or logistics within the technology infrastructure or industrial sector.
Strong understanding of international and regional trade regulations particularly in Central Africa.
Proficiency in procurement software ERP systems and Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel for data analysis and reporting).
Excellent negotiation communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to manage multiple stakeholders.
Demonstrated ability to manage tight deadlines and operate effectively in high-pressure environments.
Fluency in English; proficiency in French is highly advantageous given the regional context.
Willingness to travel across Central African countries as required.
Experience with customs documentation freight forwarding and import/export compliance.
Detail-oriented with strong organizational and analytical skills.
