Job Summary

Lead and mentor a team of instrumentation and control technicians and engineers in day-to-day operations and project execution.
Design implement and maintain advanced control systems including PLCs SCADA DCS and HMI platforms.
Conduct root cause analysis and resolve complex instrumentation and control system failures to minimize downtime.
Ensure compliance with international standards (ISA IEC API etc.) and company safety and quality protocols.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Operations Maintenance Engineering) to support system upgrades new installations and process optimization.
Manage procurement installation calibration and documentation of instrumentation equipment across multiple sites.
Develop and execute preventive and predictive maintenance programs for control systems.
Monitor system performance using real-time data analytics and recommend improvements for efficiency and reliability.
Prepare technical reports project updates and performance dashboards for senior management.
Support digital transformation initiatives by integrating IIoT devices edge computing and cloud-based monitoring solutions.

Requirements

Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering Instrumentation & Control Automation or a related field.
25 years of progressive experience in instrumentation and control systems within industrial or technology environments.
Proven experience managing teams or leading technical projects in a high-pressure operational setting.
In-depth knowledge of PLC programming (Siemens Rockwell Schneider) SCADA systems and industrial networking (Modbus Profibus Ethernet/IP).
Familiarity with safety instrumented systems (SIS) SIL certification and functional safety standards (IEC 61511).
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on system reliability and continuous improvement.
Excellent communication leadership and project management abilities.
Proficiency in technical documentation AutoCAD and data visualization tools.
