The successful candidate will focus on acquiring new business building strong client relationships and increasing revenue through strategic sales efforts.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and secure new business opportunities within the road freight sector
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients
- Prepare and present tailored logistics solutions based on client needs
- Achieve and exceed monthly and annual sales targets
- Conduct market research and stay informed on industry trends and competitor activity
- Work closely with operations to ensure efficient service delivery
- Compile proposals tenders and pricing strategies
Minimum Requirements
- Matric (Grade 12)
- Diploma or Degree in Logistics Supply Chain Business or related field
- 56 years experience in the road freight / logistics industry
- Proven track record in business development and achieving sales targets
- Strong understanding of transport operations and supply chain processes
- Excellent communication negotiation and closing skills
- Ability to work independently and manage a sales pipeline
- Valid drivers license and own reliable vehicle
