A well-established independent full-service advertising agency in Bryanston is on the hunt for a seasoned Senior Traffic Manager someone whos been around the block knows how to run a tight ship and isnt afraid to hold the line. This is a hands-on high-accountability role for someone who thrives in a fast-paced integrated environment and takes real pride in keeping the wheels turning. If youre old-school in the best possible way disciplined process-driven and tough when you need to be this ones for you.
What the job involves..
- Owning and managing the full traffic function across integrated campaigns
- Building maintaining and enforcing workflow and scheduling systems
- Allocating briefs and managing resource across creative strategy and production teams
- Tracking jobs from briefing through to final delivery nothing falls through the cracks on your watch
- Running daily and weekly traffic meetings with authority and precision
- Liaising between account management and creative teams to ensure briefs are properly resourced and deadlines are realistic
- Identifying bottlenecks before they become problems and solving them fast
- Managing capacity and flagging overload or under-resourcing proactively
- Keeping job bags timesheets and project management systems up to date and accurate
- Upholding agency processes and not being shy about enforcing them
What you need to be considered..
- 7 years of traffic management experience this is non-negotiable
- Must come from a traditional or integrated advertising agency background (not purely digital or social)
- Exposure to full-service through-the-line campaign environments
- A firm confident communication style you can hold your own in a room full of creatives and account people
- Meticulous attention to detail and a strong process mindset
- Experience with project management/traffic tools (e.g. Advantage or similar)
- Ability to stay calm under pressure and make quick smart decisions
- Strong interpersonal skills respected not feared (though a healthy dose of both doesnt hurt)
Bonus points if you..
- Have worked on FMCG or food & beverage accounts
- Have managed traffic across TV radio print and digital simultaneously
- Are familiar with production workflows as well as campaign traffic
