Your part inourMetroHospital team

  • Buildnurtureand strengthen GP and GP practice relationships across the UnitingCare Metro hospitals network.

  • Conduct structured facetoface GP liaison visits capturing insightsopportunitiesand followup actions.

  • Coordinate introductions and engagement between GPs and Visiting Medical Practitioners (VMPs) to enhance referral pathways.

  • Support delivery of the Metro GP Education Program including CPDaccredited activities and specialistfocused communications.

  • Assistin the planning and promotion of GP engagement events with Business Development and Marketing.

  • MaintainaccurateGP database records and prepare comprehensive monthly reportsidentifyingactivity trends and opportunities.

What makes a difference for us

  • Minimum 2 years experience in a facetoface GP liaison or healthcare relationship management role.

  • Strong understanding of GP and medical specialist referral pathways.

  • Experience in the private healthcare sector.

  • Demonstrated ability to engage with GPsspecialistsand clinical stakeholders.

  • Intermediate database and computer literacy skills with high accuracy in data entry.

  • Excellent communication customerserviceand interpersonal capability.

  • Strongorganisationalskills with the ability toprioritiseand meet deadlines.

  • The successful applicant willbe requiredto have an open drivers license and use their own vehicle for practice visits (vehicle allowance to be provided).

  • Willingness to obtain required vaccinations in line with hospitals infection control requirements as well as undergo national criminal history check and functional assessment
