Key Responsibilities
Talent Acquisition:
Lead full-cycle recruitment for staff and administrative positions.
Partner with hiring managers and Divisional leaders to develop effective recruitment strategies.
Manage job postings sourcing strategies advertising and recruitment vendors.
Ensure equitable compliant and inclusive hiring practices.
Train search committees and hiring managers on best practices in interviewing and selection.
Monitor recruitment metrics (time-to-fill candidate experience diversity outreach etc.).
Oversee onboarding processes to ensure successful integration of new employees.
Talent Development:
Design and implement professional development programs aligned with institutional goals.
Create and advance leadership development initiatives for current and emerging Leaders in all Divisions of the University.
Support performance management processes with a coaching-oriented approach.
Facilitate training workshops (e.g. supervisory skills communication compliance training).
Partner with senior leadership to identify succession planning and workforce
development needs.
Evaluate effectiveness of development programs through feedback and measurable outcomes.
Strategic & Operational Leadership:
Collaborate with the HR team to align talent strategies with compensation engagement and retention efforts.
Maintain compliance with federal and state employment regulations.
Manage recruitment and development budgets.
Utilize Workday applicant tracking system to improve processes and reporting.
Promote a positive employer brand consistent with the Universitys mission and values.
Qualifications:
Education:
Bachelors degree in Human Resources Organizational Development Business
Administration or related field required.
Masters degree preferred.
Experience:
5 years of progressive experience in talent acquisition training & development or HR
leadership.
Experience in higher education strongly preferred.
Demonstrated experience facilitating training and working with senior leaders.
Knowledge Skills and Abilities:
Strong understanding of employment law and hiring compliance.
Ability to build trusted relationships across academic and administrative units.
Experience designing and delivering professional development programs.
Strong facilitation communication and coaching skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a collaborative small-team environment.
Commitment to fostering an inclusive and mission-driven campus culture.
Preferred Certifications:
SHRM-CP SHRM-SCP PHR or SPHR.
Experience with applicant tracking systems and HRIS platforms.
