Job Description
As a Security Officer Entry Check in Mechanicsburg PA you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food/Beverage and more. What Youll Do:
- Provide customer service to onsite personnel and visitors by following Allied Universal security-related procedures site-specific policies and when appropriate emergency response activities at a food and beverage production and distribution location.
- Control access at entry points by verifying credentials processing visitors and contractors issuing temporary passes and directing individuals to approved check-in areas while maintaining access logs.
- Monitor inbound and outbound vehicle traffic including delivery and shipping activity by confirming authorization coordinating with onsite contacts and documenting irregularities.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner completing detailed reports and notifying appropriate personnel per post orders.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of interior and exterior areas including building entrances perimeter routes and parking areas watching for conditions that may help to deter unauthorized access and/or property loss.
Minimum Requirements:
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
