Job Summary
Metro Property Management is seeking a detail-oriented Data Entry Operator to support the companys administrative and operational processes. The Data Entry Operator is responsible for accurately entering updating and maintaining data related to property records tenant information vendor documentation financial transactions and maintenance requests.
This role requires strong typing skills attention to detail and the ability to work with confidential information. The Data Entry Operator works closely with property managers accounting staff and administrative teams to ensure that all property and operational data remains accurate and organized.
Key Responsibilities
Enter and update tenant lease vendor and property information into company databases and management systems.
Maintain accurate electronic records for residential commercial and HOA-managed properties.
Verify documents and records for accuracy before entering data.
Update maintenance requests work orders and service logs in the companys systems.
Input financial data such as rent payments invoices and vendor billing records.
Organize and maintain digital filing systems for contracts lease agreements and property documents.
Perform routine quality checks to identify and correct data discrepancies.
Generate reports and spreadsheets for management and property managers.
Assist administrative staff with document preparation and data retrieval.
Ensure strict confidentiality when handling tenant vendor and financial information.
Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree in business administration or a related field preferred.
Previous experience in data entry administrative support or office operations.
Strong typing speed with high attention to detail and accuracy.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications particularly Excel and Word.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
Strong organizational and time-management skills.
Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
Preferred Skills
Experience working in property management real estate administration or HOA management.
Familiarity with property management or accounting software systems.
Basic understanding of financial record-keeping and invoice processing.
