Metro Property Management is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Data Entry Specialist to support the administrative and operational functions of the this role you will be responsible for entering verifying and maintaining accurate records related to properties tenants vendors financial transactions and maintenance activities.
The Data Entry Specialist works closely with property managers accounting staff and administrative teams to ensure that all company databases and property management systems remain accurate organized and up to date.
Key Responsibilities
Enter and maintain property tenant lease and vendor information in the companys database systems.
Review documents forms and spreadsheets to ensure data accuracy before inputting information.
Update tenant records maintenance logs work orders and property management reports.
Assist the accounting team by entering payment information invoices and financial records.
Organize and maintain digital filing systems for leases contracts and association documents.
Perform routine data audits to identify and correct discrepancies.
Generate reports and spreadsheets for property managers and company leadership.
Maintain confidentiality when handling tenant vendor and financial information.
Support administrative staff with document preparation and information retrieval.
Ensure all data complies with company policies and record-keeping standards.
Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree in business administration or a related field preferred.
Proven experience in data entry administrative support or office operations.
Excellent typing speed with strong attention to accuracy and detail.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Excel Word Outlook).
Strong organizational and time-management skills.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced office environment.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Preferred Skills
Experience working in property management real estate administration or HOA management.
Familiarity with property management software or accounting systems.
Basic knowledge of financial documentation and invoice processing.
