Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive patient assessments and emergency care
- Develop and implement individualized care plans for patients
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals
- Perform diagnostic procedures and interpret results
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
- Educate patients and families on health management
- Document all patient interactions and care in compliance with regulations
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and training programs
Requirements
- Current Nurse Practitioner license in the state of practice
- Associate degree in Nursing or related field
- Experience in emergency medicine or critical care preferred
- Strong clinical assessment and decision-making skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced high-pressure environment
- Proficiency in electronic medical records (EMR) systems
- Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certifications required
Schedule: 7p-7a
Will perform procedures such as suturing wound care joint injections and other approved interventions
Support Staff: MD
Must be board-certified
