. This contract on-site position offers a unique opportunity to provide critical medical services in a fast-paced environment contributing to the health and well-being of our community.
As a Locum Emergency Medicine Physician you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality emergency care and managing acute medical situations. Youll work closely with a dedicated team of healthcare professionals to ensure effective patient outcomes and support our mission of providing excellent medical services.
Responsibilities
- Assess diagnose and treat patients in emergency situations
- Provide immediate care and stabilize patients as needed
- Collaborate with nursing staff and other physicians
- Maintain accurate medical records and documentation
- Communicate effectively with patients and their families
- Participate in departmental meetings and training sessions
- Stay current with medical best practices and emergency protocols
- Manage a variety of medical emergencies in a timely manner
Requirements
- MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school
- Valid medical license to practice in the state
- Board certification in Emergency Medicine is preferred
- Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a high-pressure environment
- Commitment to patient-centered care and ethical practice
- Previous experience in emergency medicine is a plus
Schedule: 12-hour day or night shifts
Annual Census: 30k patients
Must be board-certified
