Description
This contract position is an on-site role offering a unique opportunity to provide high-quality anesthesiology services in a dynamic medical practice environment.
As a Locum CRNA you will play a critical role in delivering safe and effective anesthesia care to patients undergoing surgical and procedural interventions. You will collaborate closely with surgeons and medical staff to ensure optimal patient outcomes and contribute to a supportive team atmosphere that values professional growth and patient-centered care.
Responsibilities
- Administer anesthesia to patients for surgical and procedural interventions
- Monitor patient vital signs and adjust anesthesia levels as necessary
- Collaborate with surgeons and healthcare teams to develop anesthesia plans
- Provide pre-operative assessments and consultations
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and protocols
- Document anesthesia care and patient responses accurately
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives within the department
- Educate patients and families about anesthesia procedures and risks
Requirements
- Associates degree in Nursing or related field
- Current CRNA certification and licensure
- Experience in administering anesthesia in a clinical setting
- Strong knowledge of anesthesiology practices and protocols
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Detail-oriented with strong critical thinking abilities
- Commitment to providing high-quality patient care
Schedule: Weeknights (5p-7a) or 24-hour weekend shifts
In-house coverage
OB/epidural experience is required
Will work independently
EMR: Epic
Must be board-certified
Paid travel & expenses
