Description
This contract position is on-site and offers an opportunity to work in a fast-paced medical practice environment providing critical care to patients in emergency situations.
As a Locum Emergency Medicine Physician you will play a vital role in our healthcare delivery addressing urgent medical needs and ensuring the well-being of patients. You will work alongside a dedicated team of healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality medical care in a collaborative environment.
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive emergency medical care to patients
- Assess and triage patients in emergency situations
- Collaborate with nursing staff and other healthcare professionals
- Perform diagnostic tests and interpret results
- Administer treatments and medications as necessary
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives
- Stay current with medical advancements and best practices in emergency medicine
Requirements
- Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution
- Current medical license to practice in the state of Florida
- Board certification in Emergency Medicine or relevant experience
- Strong clinical skills and the ability to work under pressure
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
- Flexibility to work various shifts including nights and weekends
- Commitment to providing high-quality patient care
Schedule: 7a-7p or 7p-7a
No call requirement
Patient Volume: 2 per hour or 26 per day
Will work independently
Must be board-certified
