As a Security Officer - Unarmed Patrol Driver Role in Knightdale NC you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a logistics and distribution location you will monitor and patrol assigned areas complete routine driving rounds and remain highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents. You will provide strong customer service and clear communication while documenting observations and responding to concerns. This is a driving post requiring a Valid Drivers License AU Driver Policy Requirements supported by Allied Universals agile reliable innovative people-first integrity-driven teamwork culture.

What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to site personnel visitors and drivers by following security-related procedures site-specific policies and when appropriate emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the warehouse loading docks trailer yards and perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify hazards and/or policy violations.
• Monitor access points and shipping and receiving areas verify identification and/or credentials when required and assist with visitor contractor and driver check-in and directions.
• Respond to incidents alarms and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner coordinating with site leadership and local responders as directed by post orders.
• Complete detailed reports of patrols incidents and observations and communicate shift activity to Allied Universal leadership and the client representative.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid drivers license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
